In India now we have a large of professional bloggers, some are quite famous and some are not but it doesn’t mean they are not successful.
Allusefulinfo.com, this is the blog I came across when I search for “free movie download sites”. I checked and checked this blog, it is stuffed with useful tips and information as the blog name AllUseFulInfo refers.
Raman Sharma owns and runs this blog. Like many pro-bloggers in India Raman is also making his living out of blogging and I am sure it is a comfortable one.
For Interview Series on Blogging Nuts, I have queued many famous and successful bloggers such as Kulwant Nagi, Harsh Agarwal, Neil Patel and almost each known one. So I suggest you stick around Blogging Nuts to learn blogging & SEO with experts.
Recently I interviewed Kulwant Nagi and learn a lot during the course. One thing I noticed about him, he is very quick in responding to emails.
Today in my Interview Series I have a highly skilled pro-blogger Raman Sharma from AllUsefulInfo.com who is earning a decent amount, or I must say a really good amount of money from his blog.
Raman is not quick in responding to emails or on social media sites but I am sure after shooting an email he will reply you within 1 week. I got a reply after 4 days.
Welcome, Raman! Thanks for joining us.
1 – Describe how did you first get into blogging?
Raman: First of all thank you Pawan for featuring me on your blog. The very first person who motivated me toward blogging is none other than my maternal uncle “Sanat Sharma” who run a humor blog GustakhiMaaf.com since 2006.
With a lot of inspiration from him, I looked into the world of blogging and get knew about some top bloggers like Amit Agarwal and Harsh Agarwal. I learned a lot from their blogs and started AllUsefulInfo.com in the December of 2012.
2 – Can you tell me some of your strengths that really helped you in blogging?
Raman: However, it’s not necessary to be a graduate to start a blog but still my graduation played a vital role in my blogging career. Actually, I completed BE with computer science engineering branch and learnt some languages like PHP, HTML and CSS.
Other than this, I also learned some basics of SEO and WordPress. I came to know about my content creation skills when I wrote almost 40 to 50 posts on my blog and it was featured as one of the India’s top 50 blogs in past 2014 in a list created by AllTechBuzz.
3 – How would you describe your blogging style?
Raman: My blog posts are written in many styles such as insightful posts, useful information about life, review blogging, list blogging and more. And I think all these blogging styles automatically reflect from my blog posts, right?
4 – What type of networking do you think is better to enhance your traffic to the blog?
Raman: Generally, I think engaging and increasing the number of fans and followers on Facebook and Twitter is one of the good methods I believe to enhance the blog traffic. I get most the traffic from search engines like Google and then Facebook, Twitter, Google Plus etc.
5 – What do you think is the best service a blogger can provide to his readers?
Raman: According to me, blogging simply means sharing our thoughts about anything (that matters) with readers. And so via blogging a blogger can provide the best, simplified and helpful ideas to help his/her readers. This is honestly the best service a blogger can provide to the readers.
6 – What would be your ideal working environment?
Raman: This is a great question because working environment plays a vital role to get succeed. I like to work in a silent plus technological environment (fulfilled with all required tools and other aspects) where I can concentrate only on my work and I try my best to maintain the environment according to my need.
7 – How do you manage time to run your blog efficiently?
Raman: The best benefit of blogging is you become your own boss. And I realized it. There is not any specific time I decided to work on the blog. But anytime when I get good thoughts in mind, I start translating them into my words.
After completing my graduation my full focus was my blog only. However these days I’m starting a web optimization company (outweb.org) which divided my work. Still, now I give most of my time to blog AllUseFulInfo instead of this new company.
There are a few things that I do every day to run my blog efficiently:
- Reading and replying to new emails from 5 AM to 6 AM
- From 8 AM to 10 AM reading technology magazines and news
- From 11 AM to 7 PM (work on the blog, but not consistently)
- And at night think and work on some strategies for the new web optimization company, and again read and reply to emails.
As I’m not any employee anywhere, my whole concentrate on my own work, so it’s very easy for me to manage time for my blog.
8 – What do you think is the best strategy that worked well for you to get more traffic to your blog?
Raman: One of the very simple strategies I follow to get more traffic to my blog is writing the quality content that matters the most to readers. Moreover as most of my blog traffic comes from Google, I always try to keep my each and every content on my blog fresh and new by regularly updating the articles every day.
Other than this, I also believe in Facebook and Twitter promotion. I used to promote my blog posts on Facebook almost every new day to get more likes and clicks to the website. It’s another good strategy for me to increase my blog traffic as well as popularity.
9 – How do you want to improve yourself in the next year?
Raman: Every new day I think something new and innovative to enhance my blog. Generally the most of my concentration remains on the content I write and so I always keep searching for the common tech-related problems people are facing, and solve them out on my blog to help them.
And as we know that forum the best option to find the problems people face, that’s why till the next year I’m planning to launch the AllUsefulInfo Forum to get connected with people and solve out their problems.
Me: That’s great Raman, I’ll be there.
10 – What was your greatest failure and what did you learn from that?
Raman: In the starting days of my blogging career I didn’t have that much knowledge about it and even how to successfully run a blog. I made many mistakes. In fact, SEO mistakes, content writing mistakes and more. Along with time when I started spending most of time with my blog, I learnt a lot about SEO, and how to maintain it.
And even due to my old SEO mistakes, I underwent a Google update in 2014 and due to which my blog remained down up to 2 months. But, with the next Google update I recovered the blog by deleting the old posts that created the problem.
This was the biggest failure in my blogging journey till now, and the very important thing I learned is “never underestimate the power of quality content”!

Raman: My one of the big dreams was doing graduation in computer science and engineering, and I’m happy that I completed it in past 2014 with a good marks. And as I told already that just after the graduation I started giving full focus to my blog instead of seeking any job, so I always look to get new achievements in the blogging career instead.

Due to the final semester’s study I wasn’t able to focus on the blog but never wanted to leave the blog. But, anyhow I managed the time for both of the things. That’s why that time was very challenging for me.

Raman: There are not a few in fact lots of tips I wanna share with newbie bloggers who desire to make money out of their blog. But, due to little time I just want to share a few things as mentioned below:
- Spend your more time for reading other blogs rather than writing
- Never copy the content from other blogs, it will hurt you!
- Create a well-managed quality content with organized headlines, paragraphs.
- Write to the point, never bore your visitors!
- Keep reading SEO tips and tricks.
- Be updated of upcoming Google algorithm updates
Once, your blog is started getting sufficient traffic, put the ads for direct revenue in return of ad clicks (for this Adsense is the best option) or become an affiliate marketer to earn commission by making sales of products.
31 – We all know Google ban their AdSense publishers very quickly, so still AdSense is a way to earn money online? or should they search for alternatives?
Raman: It’s true that AdSense is very strict about their rules and policies. But, yes if you follow the guidelines, you won’t be banned by AdSense. I’ve been using AdSense for more than 3 years and never had any issue. Still, if someone is banned by AdSense, there are many alternatives available such as Media.net, BuySellAds etc. Here’s the list of best Adsense alternatives I published on my blog!
- Read: What is AdSense? and why almost every blogger die to get it?
- Read: 8 things to know before you apply for AdSense.
- Read: When to apply for AdSense? after six months or before?
- Read: Top 26 mistake let your AdSense application rejected.
